It’s the last day of July, I know, most of you are thinking, “thank the Lord that Dry July is OVER!”
Meanwhile, the fashion world has moved on to summer, we are only weeks away from most houses releasing their first spring range of the Australian season. And you all know what that means; party frocks.
The hottest item on the party frock rack this year has to be the sequined dress. Not just a few sequins here and there, I am talking sequins or beads from hem to neckline. But it is not just the frocks that are flashing like a disco ball, whether it be a cami, skirt, frock, jacket or pant, if it’s got sequins, it has got them everywhere.
So if you are going to do the sequin thing this summer my advice is, ditch the shy side, embrace your inner David Bowie and make a statement out of it.
